Momentum Mission
To empower moms to reclaim their bodies, confidence, and energy through sustainable habits, strength, and nutrition — creating lasting results that fit real life. We guide mothers to build routines that honor their time, nurture their well-being, and give them the tools to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally — so they can feel strong in their bodies, confident in their choices, and present in the moments that matter most.

Hey Sister, I've been where you are...
Hi, I’m Shelby — founder of Momentum, certified nutrition coach, personal trainer, women’s health specialist, former college athlete, and most importantly, mom of two busy toddlers.

A few years ago, I was a mom who felt… invisible in my own life. My body didn’t feel like mine anymore. I was exhausted all the time, constantly chasing the next thing, and the mirror felt more like an enemy than a friend. I wanted to get my body back, but I was tired of “quick fixes” that never stuck. I wanted something real — something that fit into my life as a mom, not something that added more guilt, stress, or all-or-nothing pressure.

I felt completely stuck. I was trying to force myself into a fitness mold that didn’t fit my life. I thought lifting heavy weights was the only way to get results, and for three years, I tried over and over — only to fall short every time. Because I was failing at workouts, I was also failing at my diet and basic fitness habits.
And it wasn’t because I didn’t want it — motherhood with two little ones is relentless. I was running on 4–6 hours of sleep a night. My kids were determined to sabotage my workout time. Most days, I was just barely keeping my head above water.

It felt like no matter what I did, nothing stuck. I was tired, frustrated, and ready to give up. But I also knew there had to be a better way — a way to build strength and confidence without burning out, a way to actually make progress in the chaos of motherhood.

That’s when I started experimenting with tiny, consistent habits that actually worked — habits I could realistically keep up with no matter how messy life got. I learned how to train smart, eat in a way that supported my energy, and prioritize myself without guilt. Slowly, the results started to show — and more importantly, they stuck.

Now, I help moms just like me do the same thing. Moms who are exhausted, overwhelmed, and frustrated by “quick fixes” that never work. Moms who want to feel strong, confident, and energized — without sacrificing their family life or sanity. I created Momentum to give real moms a system that works: a way to finally get results, keep them, and thrive in motherhood.
Testimonials
Heather, Mom of 2 toddlers
"I joined to get back on track after my second pregnancy... I needed the accountability to get back at it. Shelby was amazing at listening to my goals and concerns and tweaked things as we went to keep me motivated and see progress. I used to think it was all about how I looked, but have come to find that I care more about how I feel, and how strong I am in the gym.

I have finally found something that works for me and doesn't feel restrictive in the slightest."
Erin, Mom of 3
"My life has changed for the better in terms of having a realistic, healthy relationship with food and understanding how to fuel my body if I want to perform. By doing that I'm finally getting the results I've wanted for 20 years.

I started looking for a coach when I realized everything I've done in the past was not sustainable."
Autumn, Mom of 2
"This has been eye opening to say the least. I literally have been "working on myself for 10 years" and I feel like I have a better handle now in three days than I have before. I'm feeling not hungry, and I've lost weight, but most of all my workouts have been so much better."
Kate, Mom of 2 teens
"I just want to pop in and say thank you. Thank you for being my coach and supporting me through my doubts and wobbles. The highs and lows. This morning, as I was getting dressed, I saw how much the long game has paid off. I feel amazing! And I owe so much to your support and cheerleading."
